On January 27, 2022, the 2021 annual meeting of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Quantum Computing and Measurement was successfully held. Last year, the committee promoted the approval of China's first recommended national standard in the field of quantum precision measurement - "Test Methods for Performance Parameters of Optical Frequency Combs in Precision Optical Frequency Measurement". Throughout the year, a total of 6 national standards were approved for establishment, and 5 standardization research topics were under development. The committee actively participated in meetings of international standardization organizations such as ISO, IEC, and ITU - T, and released the IEC White Paper on Quantum Information Technology. In 2022, the Standardization Technical Committee will continue to improve the national standard system for quantum computing and measurement, strengthen the formulation of general basic standards, actively participate in international standardization work, promote the transformation of innovative achievements in China's quantum computing and measurement field, and provide standard support for industrial applications.The meeting heard reports from the heads of the leading units of each standard project on the specific progress of the national standard projects, and then a free discussion was carried out. Academician Dou Xiankang pointed out that quantum science and technology are developing rapidly. In areas with strong basic versatility, we should actively participate in international cooperation. For technical fields with potential application scenarios, such as single - photon lidar, we need to accelerate the pace of standard development to lay a solid foundation for future industrialization. On December 20th, the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Quantum Computing and Measurement (SAC/TC 578) held a pre - review meeting on "Research Topics and National Standard Project Proposal Suggestions for 2024". At the same time, they put forward two suggestions, hoping that each working group would base on the actual development of China's quantum metrology technology and industrial characteristics, serve the national standardization and metrology development strategies, and ensure the scientificity, advancement, and effectiveness of the standards. They stated that they would strengthen cooperation in the subsequent development of the standards, combine the standard development with practical applications, and jointly promote the development of national and international standards.The Quantum Standardization Technical Committee was established in January 2019. Currently, there are 7 national standards under development, 5 research topics, and 54 committee members and experts. It is a professional standard - setting technical organization in China engaged in the development of national standards in the field of quantum computing and measurement. In the next step, the committee will continue to organize and carry out standardization work in quantum computing and measurement.
