High - quality healthcare services are crucial for sustainable development. To this end, the United Nations has included "Ensure healthy lives and promote well - being for all at all ages" with an emphasis on accessible and safe healthcare for everyone as one of the Sustainable Development Goals. International standards and conformity assessment play a vital role in achieving this development goal. They provide global guidelines for promoting the application of digital health technologies, as well as the research, development, manufacturing, and maintenance of medical devices and systems, ensuring that effective, safe, and reliable medical devices and health services are widely available worldwide. They also provide a solid foundation for effective policy - making and regulation, encouraging cooperation in improving healthcare standards. At present, e - health technologies are advancing rapidly. There is a particular need to leverage the role of IEC, ISO, and ITU international standards in ensuring system security and protecting patient privacy. Let us unite and work together to jointly promote the realization of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, build an international standard system that supports sustainable development, and create a better world.
